About Us
Meet the team
Our clinic is home to two highly skilled, HCPC-Registered Podiatrists, each bringing their own unique expertise to ensure comprehensive foot care for all our patients.
Lisa Shaw
I'm not only a dedicated podiatrist but also a devoted parent to young twins - a boy and a girl. They keep my life joyful and vibrant. My family and I are proud to be part of our local community.
I've been the owner of the clinic since 2005 and my passion is to see my patients walk out with a smile, feeling better than when they arrived.
My journey in podiatry began at Durham School of Podiatric Medicine, where I graduated in 1996. Since then, I've worked within the NHS and also honed my skills internationally in Canada.
Being part of the Chapeltown community means a lot to me. I volunteer at local events whenever I can and I proudly sponsor local groups.
Graeme Carter-Wood
Living in the picturesque Peak District brings me a deep understanding of the challenges faced by those who lead an active lifestyle. This perspective enriches my practice, allowing me to relate closely to my patients' needs.
I graduated in 2001 and my journey with Chapeltown Foot Clinic began in 2016 when I initially covered for Lisa during her maternity leave. Since then, I've become an integral part of the team, known for my expertise and compassionate approach to patient care.
In addition to my routine care services, I'm dedicated to resolving complex foot issues and enhancing patients' mobility and comfort through personalised treatments. I'm the clinic expert in biomechanics, orthotics, and advanced treatments such as steroid injections and nail surgery.
Our Reception Team
Ellie
I balance my bustling work life with my role as a parent and caregiver to a small dog. I indulge in reading thrillers, finding solace and excitement in the pages of gripping mysteries.
Since the clinic reopened post-COVID lockdown in 2020, I've been an integral part of the team, ensuring smooth operations.
Sarah
Growing up just a short distance from the clinic, I have deep roots in our community. I enjoy the local area and I'm often seen out and about with my family and my beloved dog.
I've been a member of the team since 2018. I'm often the first friendly face you'll encounter when you visit our clinic.
